Freemore PDF to JPG PNG TIF Converter is a free tool aimed to help you convert your PDF files into JPG, PNG, TIF, and other image files.
The design of the program is nice and unobtrusive. The main menu is executed in the form of a band with tabs. Each tab is separated in sections and contains function buttons and options to change the document’s settings. I personally like this organizing form because it allows you to have an easy access to all the commands. Once you load the PDF document you want to convert, most of the buttons and options become enabled.
In Preview tab you may use such base functions as: printing, saving, zooming the document, arranging the page in the window and paginating the document for preview purposes. In order to start converting, you need to switch to ‘PDF to image’ tab. There you find most of the buttons from the previous tab. However, the main focus here is the ‘Settings’ section. Here you can choose the target image format for your PDF document. You may also set the page range to be converted and the DPI settings. In addition, you have the ability to protect your PDF file with a password. Also, you can remove a password from the PDF file, but in this case you need to know the original password the file has.
To make things short, the program works perfectly; and since it is free, I consider it a good alternative to the same kind of tools. However, it comes with few conversion options (for instance, it has neither the ability to save the images in black and white, nor to compress the files).
